***__Well good evening everyone, I hope
that everyone is enjoying and having a safe holiday with their family, friends,
and loved ones. After experiencing the “Meeting Aesclepius” I still feel the
same about too much talking for me. In addition, I do not like how they sound a
little bit like a computer. I would rather have just the elements of the waves
and wind, but I still tried my best with going with the flow of this exercise
just for the experience itself. This is good practice for me to take with me
when I go to the lake to clear my mind. It’s nice to have as well as learn new
techniques upon completing my goal of clearing my mind of negativity and enter
health and wellness. Mindfulness and meditation both have fostered an increase
in my psychological as well as spiritual wellness since 2010 when I would go to
the lake and meditate for as long as an hour. Well the saying “One cannot lead
another where one has not gone himself” is self explanatory (to me that is). I
believe this because the best coaches, professors, doctors, and leadings are
the ones who not only walked down that path in life, but also implanted signs
to guide others in the right direction in order for them to find and take higher
directions upon new ways to overall health and wellness. This is how we as
humans come together as one in order for us all to life a happier and healthier
lifestyle with these new finds for a better and healthier you and me. This is
not only my obligation to grow my health psychologically, physically, and
spiritually, but it’s our as one.

I agree Lee, the man's voice is a bit difficult to pay attention to for me. I also had a difficult time again focusing because all I could think about was getting school work done today on Christmas Eve so I can take a shower, before dinner at tonight, and somehow find time to wrap presents that I have not had time to wrap with work and school work... When I have a hard time focusing on the guided meditation I at least focus on the sounds of the waves too! I too also love to meditate near bodies of water, it is very calming and easier to focus.
ReplyDeleteThat would be a good place to go to clear your mind and be calm. I do not have that choice and have to resort to other methods. I love to ride my bike in the summer to get exercise but also to just get away by myself which I do not get often with 4 kids at home and a disabled husband. I worry all the time about stuff I have know control over. My paster once told me to put my worries in God's hands and he will do the rest. I pray more and more everyday hopping all the worries would just go away, but I still find myself sitting bitting my fingers and having anxiety attacks.
ReplyDeleteLee, I love this quote “One cannot lead another where one has not gone himself” as I also find it so true and self explanatory. You really cannot lead unless you know where you are going because you have been there before. It rings true in all aspects of life, advice giving, personal issues, etc. Personal experience is the best teacher as long as you can grow from your experiences and realize the areas of what you did right and wrong. :) jen
